Add Separators In The Dock

Lines or other separators so we can visually group app icons together in the
dock.

I find it’s tough to keep the apps organized. I’d like to be able to group
apps together and have visual separation.

I’d like a small line or something that can be dragged and used to separate
groups of apps.

The main advantages for me are:
being able to see groups of apps at a glance
being able to group apps by feature or use
etc.

This sounds cool. I also feel that two columns for app icons would help as well, but I could just be spoiled from using Photoshop lol

Good idea, I wonder if faint accent colors (that could be changed by the user) could be added behind each icon to separate each icon by a faint color, because I feel that adding separator lines might take up too much space.

This is an example on my Franz account of why I like to keep the tabs separate. Why work spaces are so important. On Franz I can separate into different uses, so instead of seeing all the pages, I click on the relevant folder of tabs to show only those. E.g. if I'm working on SEO, only those tabs show. Or if I'm working on Social Media, only the relevant social media tabs show. It's very important to be able to categorize them! Station is missing this so badly. It's the major reason I cannot move over even though I'd like to. Station please allow categorization!

Im actually kind of shocked it wasnt a normal feature from day 1.
It makes me feel im missing some part of how I should be using the app. And also seems to solve similar problems as https://feedback.getstation.com/feature-requests/p/group-apps-together-in-the-dock-stack-apps-in-folders-categorize-apps
If I have multiple clients, and they all have some sort of email account - how do I know what mail account each sidebar icon associates with? ... just know off of the order I added them?

This is actually a very good idea. this way you could for example have
separation between categories.
Like for instance: social, Mails, Documents, management, ETC
